HAWERA'S NEW STARTER
Mr. A. Morse, who for a number of years has been starter'to the Hawera Trotting Club, has resigned the position owing to his removing from the district, and the Auckland starter, Mr. J. Gavin, has been appointed.
Mr. Gavin, who was for many years assistant starter at Epsom to the late Mr. J. Williamson, and later to Mr. A. Tronson, was appointed to the position by fhe Auckland Trotting Club when Mr. Tronson was appointed North Island handicapper.
