ESTIMATES FOR 1936-37
Provisional estimates for the year 1936-37 were placed before the City and Suburban Water Supply Board today, as follows:—
Estimated receipts: Credit balance at March 1, £850; rents, including camping licences, etc., £180; timber royalties, £650: contributions by local authorities. £1274; total. £2954.
Estimated payments: Gauging stream flow, £20; transport, £200; afforestation, nursery, and maintenance of plantation, £700; interplanting, £70: fire protection, £350; wild life and noxious weed control, £20: interest and sinking fund charges, £794; ad L ministration. £800: total. £2954.
