MOONLIGHT EXCURSION.

Providing the weather is fine tomorrow night, the moonlight excursion arranged by the Port Nicholson Silver Band in aid of its contest fund should prove a very enjoyable outing. The s.s. Muritai is timed to leave the Ferry Wharf at' 8 o'clock, and will cruise around the beauty spots of Wellington Harbour to the strains of music by the band. A full orchestra will also be on board to supply music for dancing, and this, together with other arrangements for entertainment should result in making the trip something to be remembered. Wellington Harbour by night, with its • myriads of twinkling lights,' is comparable to a glimpse of fairyland, and when mirth and music are added the effect is most delightful.
