ZANZIBAR RIOTING

' A REPORT DENIED

NORMAL CONDITIONS BEINQ RESTORED

(British Official Wireless.) (Received February 11, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, February 10. An official telegram received at tha Colonial Office from Zanzibar states that there is no truth whatever in the report that 75 Arabs-who participated in the recent rioting were imprisoned in the hold of a Government steamer.

The casualties among the rioters were four killed or died of wounds and two wounded. There are 14 persons at present under arrest. Normal conditions are gradually being restored. Casualties among officials and polica were two dead and 13 injured.
