CONTROL OF DARDANELLES
GOOD LEAGUE MEMBER

LONDON, January 23,
The "Manchester Guardian's" Constantinople correspondent says Turkey considers that as a reward for being a good member of the League of Nation! she should be given full control of the Dardanelles, the restrictions concerning which she considers an anachronism. Turkey points out that in order_ effectively to support the League she' must not be exposed to Italian attack in the Dardanelles, and therefore hopes the other nations will see the reasonableness of her request.
