Miss Shakes, of 119 Hobart Street, Miramar, was hosiess recently at a "kitchen tea" given at her home in "honour of Miss Dulcie McNeil, whose marriage to Mr. F. D. Kilby will take place shortly.

A very pleasant time was spent in competitions, and songs were rendered by Miss O'Sullivan, Miss Belteridge, and Mr. Chapman. A delicious afternoon tea was served in the garden. Miss McNeil was the recipient of many useful gifts,
