LOAN POLLS CARRIED

GORE, January 23.
A poll of ratepayers of the Gore Borough to borrow £6000 for footpaths was carried by 237 votes to 1159. A poll to borrow £3500 for tepid baths was carried by 212 votes to 179, Only 27 per cent, of the ratepayers exercised their votes.
