COMPLETELY FALSE
ITALIAN CLAIMS
ETHIOPIAN COMMUNIQUE
(Received January 21, 10.45 a.m.)
LONDON, January 20.
Supplementing the Abyssinian disparagement of the Italian version of the Ganale Dorya battle, the Ethiopian headquarters, without reference to the Emperor, issued a special communique declaring that the Italian claims are completely false and merely designed to impress the League Council. It recalls that the Abyssinians announced on January t3 that Ras Desta was withdrawing his troops up the Ganale Dorya River in order to solve supply difficulties.
