Alter securing journalistic experience in America and Europe, Mr. E. W. Scott, who is now editor of a Span-ish-English newspaper at Panama City, returned to New Zealand by the Remuera yesterday to sper.d a holiday with his parents at Palmerston North. Mr. Scott is accompanied by his wife.
Mr. Scott was at one time on the literary staff of the "Evening Post" and is well known to many residents of Wellington. He went from Wellington to take a position on the staff of the "Sydney Morning Herald," and later travelled through America and Europe. He was employed on a New York tabloid paper—"The Evening Graphic"—at the time of the kidnap-, ping of the Lindbergh baby and worked for some time on the case for his paper.
After a visit to New Zealand during the summer of 1926-27, Mr. Scott went to Panama where he secured his prosent position.
