SACRAMENTO, January 18. Boleer played a fine opening round in the annual Sacramento 3000-dollar open golf tournament today, scoring 74, two over par and three strokes behind Mehlhorn, who has a 71. Other Australians' scores were Naismith 70 Richardson 77, Kelly 78, Ted Naismith 80, Cohen 81, Campbell 88. Mehlhorn maintained his lead with a 71 in the second round, makirg a total of 142. Second round scores and totals oC the Australians are George Naismith 75, 151; Bolger 77, 151; Ted Naismith 72, 152; Kelly 79, 158; Cohen 80 161; Campbell 86, 174.
