At the wool sales 8521 bales were offered,' including 2378 bales from New Zealand. 7182 bales of Australian and New Zealand were sold. There was a moderate selection containing a small supply of Australian merinos which, with New Zealand crossbreds, sold well to the Home trade and the Continent at firm rates.
