BURDILL CUP MATCH
A large party, including players and friends, spent a very pleasant day at Eastbourne during the weekend when Dilloways Ltd. met Burchs in the annual cricket match for the Burdill Cup. Dilloways retained the trophy ■ defeating Burchs by 20 runs on the first innings. The principal scorers for Dilloways were: L. Williamson 45, R. Wylie 43, M. McClellan 22, G. Adams 17; for Burchs. Mcllwee 35, Condon 20, Warwick 17. Bowling for Dilloways Gibb took four wickets for 11, Adams three for 23 including the hat trick; for Burchs, Hancock took seven for 39, also including the hat-trick. KARORI v. RANGITIKEI. A cricket match between Karori and Rangitikei is to be played at Karori Park on Anniversary Day, commencing at 10.30 a.m. The teams are:— Rangitikei.—D. Cameron (captain), J. Marshall, A.
