MR. KIPLING'S CONDITION

RUGBY, January 15. Anxiety continues concerning ths condition of Mr. Rudyard Kipling, who is gravely ill in Middlesex Hospital after an operation for gastric trouble. Early this morning it was stated chat he had had a quiet night, and a bulletin recorded that his condition showed a slight improvement this morning. The King and Queen are being kept informed as to his progress. One of the visitors to Mrs. Kipling yesterday was Mr. Stanley Ba dwm the Prime Minister, who is related to the famous man of letters.
