TRANS-TASMAN ROUTE

MINISTERS APPROACHED

Plans in connection with,the proposed traris-Tasman air service, in which the late Sir Charles Kingsford Smith was interested, were placed before the Government today by Mr. Beau Sheil, a director of the TransTasman Air Service Development Company, Ltd., who arrived from Sydney this week for the purpose of conducting negotiations with the New Zealand Government. Today, Mr. Shiel interviewed the Postmaster-General (the Hon. F. Jones), and the Prime Minister (the Hon. M; J. Savage). In an interview with a "Post" reporter, Mr. Jones stated that the company's plans had been put before him, and he had promised to consider them in collaboration with the Prime Minister.
