PLEASURE CRAFT
INTERFERENCE WITH SHIPPING
Several complaints have been received by the Wellington Harbour Board regarding the movements of pleasure craft, according to a letter received at last night's meeting of the Wellington Provincial' Yacht and Motor-Boat Association from the harbourmaster (Captain P. S. Peterson). The small craft had come too close to vessels working the port both when nearing the wharves and also when in ( the channel. The letter lequested that yachtsmen under the association's jurisdiction be asked to keep well clear of shipping in the harbour.
