"The Thirty-Nine Steps," showing at Our Theatre, Newtown, fully merits the t approbation of picture-goers. Robert *--: D.onat, well remembered for his power-T-''-ful interpretation in "Monte Cristo, is ■'• co-starred with Madeleine Carroll. Ihe picture is an 'ingenious adaptation of John 'Buchan's well-known story of the machinations of an international spy organisation, and the exciting adventures that befell a man in his efforts to outwit the gang. In a range of - notable settings, the magnificence of exteriors taken in Scotland is especially remarkable, and one of the highlights Of the drama is a man-hunt among precipitous valleys and heatherclothed hills. Zane Grey's "Rocky Mountain Mystery" is the supporting feature. •■.:'{■'■. »
