DAIRY MARKETS WEAK
Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their principals, Messrs. W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., dated London, January 14: — Both markets are weak. Butter, Danish, 115s per cwt; New Zealand finest, 925; Kangaroo finest, 91s. Cheese, New Zealand white, 55s per cwt; New Zealand coloured, 595.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following advice from their London house, dated January 15: — Dairy produce (last week's quotations in parentheses)— Butter, New Zealand choicest salted, 91s to 92s per cwt (965). Market firm. Cheese, white, 54s to 55s per cwt (575). Cheese," coloured, 58s per cwt (61s). Market quiet.
