MASPORT CUP ENTRIES

BLENHEIM, This Day.
Though the entries for the Maspoft Cup (New Zealand Speedboat Championship) do not close till Monday, six have so far been received, and it is not believed there willbe any more. The entries received so far are: Pelorus Jack (Havelock, the defender), Miss Wanganui and Miss Ethel II (Wanganui), Tory Chick (Picton), Miss Syndicate (Dunedin), and Baby Taubman (Wellington). The race takes place on Wednesday. Some of the boats have already arrived, arid are tuning up. All except the Baby Taubman have previously contested the event. The Tory Chick won in 1934.
