DEPEND ON WIFE
AMBROSE PALMER'S PLANS
SYDNEY, January 15.
The- boxer Ambrose Palmer states that he will not- make a decision whether to accept the offer to fight Henneberry until a medical examination of his wife, who has been ill, has shown that she is fit to travel with him to England. He is eager to return to England, but will not go without his wife.
The return fight between Bep Van Klaveren and Carroll will take place on February 11.
A cable received yesterday stated that Mr, Munro, manager of the National Boxir/ Club, stated that the club had accepted the terms submitted by Ambrose Palmer to induce him to remain in Australia, and had arranged for Palmer to meet Fred Henneberry in a light-heavyweight championship bout atniie Stadium on February 10.
