fnere was considerable flying activity ■at Rongotai this morning. At 9 a.m. ZK-ADO, with Flying-Officer Buckridge a S pilot, arrived and left again for Masterton some ten minutes later. At 1U a.m. Squadron-Leader MacGregor flymg a Union Airways machine, left for Palmerston North. Two aerowaw S-'n With M m H- Edwards and Mr. W. Wilton as pilots, left for Blenheim during the morning and returned about noon. These were ZK-A^O and ZK-ABB, and the latter carried a passenger. ZK-AAB, with Miss E. Angus and Miss Martin, arrived from Hastings about noon.
The two D.H. Dragon Rapides of Cook Strait Airways, Ltd., whose arrival yesterday afternoon was mentioned in ."The Post," left subsequently for Nelson. The pilots will return to Rongo tai' to practise landings and to familiarise themselves with the route before, the regular service starts next week.
