THREE DROWNED
FALL INTO COLLIERY DAM
. SYDNEY, December 26. Mrs. Florence Angwin, Leichhardt, and a son and daughter were drowned today in a colliery dam at Helensburgh, on the south coast. " A third child in the same family and a woman friend were rescued by several men bathers who heard screams but were unable to locate Mrs. Arigwin and the two children until it was too late. It appears that two members of the party who were walking on the edge of the dam slipped in. The others immediately entered the water for the purpose of effecting a rescue, when' all became in peril at the same moment.
