WEDDING

GREVILLE—COLLINS.

The wedding of Ethel Margaret, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Collins, of "Te Wharekoa," Feilding, and Pat Greville, Palmerston North, only son of Mrs. M. Greville, Hamilton, aroused a considerable amount of interest in Feilding, one of the main reasons being that the bride's parents are Feilding's Mayor and Mayoress.

The Rev. Father Garritty performed the ceremony, which took place at St. Brigid's Church, which was decorated by friends with hydrangeas and other flowers in delicate shades of blue, pink, and green.

The bride, who was accompanied by her father and attendants, wore a beautiful model gown of richest ivory satin, classic in design, the chief feature of which was the very long train with exquisite lace appliqued to its border, and a delicate tracery of satin appliqued to the lace. Her veil of very fine net swept to the end of her train from a coronet of orange blossom and buds, and she carried white roses and Christmas lilies that showered almost to her feet.

Mrs. Jules Keller, of Wellington, was matron of honour, and the bridesmaids

were Miss Ivy Dummer (Feilding) and Miss Althea Castles, a Wellington cousin of the 'bride. Mrs. Keller wore hydrangea blue crushed organdie, Miss Dummer hydrangea pink, and Miss Castles hydrangea green. The frocks had high cowl necks falling from the shoulders into a deep cape frilled at the edge and finished down the back with a row of taffeta buttons, while at the corsage was a very effective spray of blue, pink, and.green organdie flowers. The full skirts had numerous godets; each being outlined with a frill, and wide taffeta sashes were tied in a bow at the back with ends falling to the ground., Their .taffeta picture hats were similar in shade to their frocks, arid bouquets of pink sweet peas; rosebuds, arid maidenhair fern, with streamers of pale pink ribbon, were carried.

,Mr. T. C. Collins,-brother of the bride,1 \vas best man, and Messrs. C. Nicol and P. Pope, of Palmerston North, were groomsmen.

A reception was held at the Parish Hall, which was artistically decorated with pink hydrangeas, love-in-the-mist, delphiniums, and other flowers in hydrangea tones. The wedding cake was the gift of. Mrs. Arthur Sporle. Mrs. Collins received the guests, wearing a frock of maro-beige lace with a three-quarter-length lace coat and a smart baku straw hat of the same shade, which had a bandeau of autumn-tinted flowers. Her bouquet and shoulder spray were _in similar shades. Mrs. Greville, mother of the bridegroom, wore a model gown of black suede crepe figured in white, a swagger coat of black marocain, and a black baku hat with touches of white, and she carried scarlet roses.

When Mr. and Mrs. Pat Greville left for a tour of the North Island the J>ride wore a three-piece ensemble in deep maize crepe silk and a niggerbrown stitched taffeta hat and accessories.

.', Following, the reception a delightful dance for young friends was given by Mr. and Mrs. Collins.
