RIFLE SHOOTING
KARORI CLUB
The Karori Rifle Club fired a special match at 500 yards on Saturday afternoon for Christmas prizes. Conditions were favourable for good shooting and some excellent scores were registered. The principal prizes were won by H. V. Croxton. and H. Lana, with'scores of 97 and 96 respectively. Other prize-winners were J. I. King and H. Boon among the scratch men each with excellent scores of 95, and «. H. King, D. Rankin, and A. H. Williams among the handicap men.
At the conclusion of the match Mr. E. Caughley, the club's president, presented the. prizes to the winners and expressed his appreciation of the hißh standard of marksmanship that had been displayed during the afternoon.
