TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS
_ All offices of the Wellington '.. City Corporation will close for the Christmas and New Year holidays^ from midday tomorrow until the morning of• Thursday, January 3, though the rates office and the engineer's department will be open ; for,- necessary special business on December.3l from 9:am to 3 p.m. ; ;,; /-."■/ .'■•'.■■• .-■"-..■.■ As advertised/ Willis Street will be closed to mqjtor traffic between Lambton Quay and; Manners. -Street, Cuba Street wiU/be closed between Vivian Street and'-Manners Street, and the whole ,of jr Manners Street will be closed, these: vehicular - restrictions covering /the hours from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. tomorrow. •
Except on Christmas: Day, '•Boxing Day,-Sunday, and New Year's Day, trafficjinquiries may;' be made through the department's usual telephone, or through the special/Hutt Road patrol telephone, 28-065. The traffic office will be open on December 31, 9 a.mlto 3 p.m. ■• ...'■ -;..';• ■ ■'• ■ ■■:";.-
The electricity department's public offices and the libraries will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday and January 1 and 2 only. ,
The municipal golf links and the baths will be closed on Christmas Day.
