MAORILANDERS AT SUVA
: SUVA,'December, 19. The Maorilanders gained, the easiest of victories over the Suva second eleven. The visitors in their first innings made 290 runs for five wickets and declared (Dunning 135 retired Vipond 54, Wyatt 52). Suva, first innings, 50 (Bright five for 8 runs, Riley four for 15). Suva followed on and lost four wickets for 22 runs (Bright two for 9).
Dunning was forceful and scored rapidly. He gave-one very difficult chance. Suva were quite unable to handle Bright's changes of pace and mixed deliveries.
