Bad weather again troubled competitors in the annual competition among members of the 33 Club, drawn from the ranks of those engaged in the motion picture and allied industries, for the Roy Schureck Memorial Cup, which was held on the Hutt links yesterday; it will be remembered that heavy rain caused the abandonment of the fixture about a month ago. Steady rain yesterday made grips so slippery that the clubs frequently flew out of the players' hands, and several abandoned the medal rounds after covering half the course. The weather improved in the afternoon, when a second medal round was played. , . . The Schureck Memorial Cup goes to the competitor who does the best net score for two. rounds of medal play, and yesterday this proved to be V. Schumacher, the runner-up being J. Trayes.

The "Evening Post" trophy for the best net score in the morning resulted In a tie between S. Bridgeford, E. L. Rutledge, and.. C. McNulty, and they will toss for the trophy this evening. The "Dominion" trophy, for the best net score in the afternoon, was won by H. Kerns. The Royal Oak trophy-went to B. Allen, and the Dewar trophy to V; Schumacher.

The competitors had lunch at trie clubhouse. Mr. E. L. Rutledge, vicepresident of the 33 Club, referred to the bad luck the club had experienced in. the matter of weather.
