AIR MAIL AGREEMENT
FOUR ROUND-TRIPS A WEEK
(British Official Wireless.) (Received December 16, 9 ajn.) RUGBY, December 15. At Washington yesterday the conference on the subject of a transatlantic air-mail services, at which representatives of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Irish Free State took part, concluded, and a communique containing the following was issued:—■ "Understandings have been reached which, it is confidently hoped, will bring about the early establishment of transatlantic air transport services connecting these several countries. It is expected that experimental flights will be begun early in the summer of 1936, and it is hoped that scheduled services will begin by the summer of 1937. When a full regular service is inaugurated, it is provided that there will be four round-trips per week."
