Net profit of AVoolworths (Victoria). Ltd.. for the year ended September 30 is shown at £13,605, compared with £7396 for the previous ten months, the opening period of its operation. Preference dividend of 7 per cent, accounts for £5600, and with £40 brought forward £8045 is carried forward.

The New Zealand Dairy Board has fixed the minimum prices for f.o.b. sales from today on the basis of: Butter 103 d (equivalent to 87s 2d per cwt c.i.f.e.) and cheese 5 l-8d (equivalent to 47s 9d per cwt c.i.f.e.). Both arc less 1| per "cent, commission.
