DOMINION TOURNAMENT

The. total of 620 entries (134 rinks 234 pairs, 252 singles) for the Dominion tournament at Christchurch next month is very satisfactory, and as the greens are reported as likely to be in good condition competitors ' can look forward to a pleasurable time. The tournament will open .on Monday, January 6, with the singles, which will be continued on the following day, ■while January 8 and 9 will be taken up with the pairs. There will be four days of section play in the rinks, from Friday, January 10, to Tuesday, January 14. From Wednesday, January 15, post-section play in the rinks will be the main attraction, while the pairs and the singles will be continued as players become available.
