TARANAKI OIL FIELDS.
Taranaki (N.Z.) Oil Fields, N.L;, 'reports that the company's activities-m New Zealand are r Jirhited to ,care of plant and.equipment for preservation of oil rights over territory regarded yas of prospective interest. The managing director (Sir Colin Fraser), when in England recently, discussed the situation in New Zealand with certain overseas interests, and as a result it is hoped that the way will be open for negotiations looking towards resumption of field work in the Dominion. Reference was made to results of Moturoa Oil Fields. Ltd., as periodically published in "The Post." The balancesheet at April 30 shows 'that the company's holding of shares in New Zealand oil companies, at cost, amounted to £331,837.
