BOYS' COLLEGE ROLL
The Wellington Boys' College finishes the year with a roll number of 680, compared with 686 at the end of last y,ear. The number of pupils on the roll at the beginning of this year was 796, and 24 more were enrolled during the year. Removals during the year numbered 140. Altogether 249 new boys entered the school during the year. The total enrolment of boarders for the year was 68. The average school roll for the year was 681, and the average attendance 95.4 per cent. SLAVE TO LUXURY. It is whispered round a big city office that the manager has absolutely become a slave to Luxury. Hour after hour he is contentedly seen puffing at his pipe of Luxury.
