WEST COAST ROAD
SEALING OPERATIONS
MOTORISTS MUST DEVIATE
The Automobile Association advises that the Manawatu County Council has commenced sealing operations on the Main West Coast Road between Sanson and Himatangi, working from Sanson southwards. During the progress of the work main road traffic between Foxton, Himatangi, and Bulls will be required to deviate over a detour road on the coast side of the Main Road.
North-bound traffic will turn to the left at Makowai dairy factory and rejoin the Wanganui road about halfway between Sanson and, Bulls, and south-bound traffic will1 turn 'to the right about half-way between Bulls and Sanson and will rejoin the Main Road at the Makowai dairy factory. The detours will be adequately signed by the Manawatu Automobile Association.
