HUTT LICENSING COMMITTEE
A sitting of the Hutt Licensing Committee was held at Petone this morning before Mr. H. P. Lawrie, S.M., and Messrs. A. G. Bowden and J. W. McEwan, at which the licence of the Empire Hotel, Petone, was transferred from Peter J. Murning to Hugh Fahey. Senior-Sergeant G. Sivyer represented the police, and Mr. D. McGrath appeared for Mr. Fahey.
