CHILD'S BODY FOUND IN
SCRUB

MELBOURNE, This Day,
Police late this afternoon arrested and charged Albert Soderman, aged 35, a married man with one child, with the murder of June Rushmer, aged six, whose body was found in scrub in Leongatha on Monday.
Soderman is a Leongatha.

A startling development after thai arrest was a statement by SubInspector McKerrall, in charge of the police investigation, that Sodermati made a statement concerning the deaths of three other children, Ethel Belshaw, at Inverloch, on January 1; and Hazel Wilson, aged 16 years, at Caulfield on January 10, 1931; and Mena Griffiths, at Ormond, on November 9,1930—a1l unsolved mysteries. The police also said that Soderman was one of the men interviewed regarding the Inverloch murder.
