IMPROVEMENT PLAN

The President of the Board of Education, Major Oliver Stanley, speaking at Birmingham, revealed that the Government is introducing a seven-years' plan of technical education costing £12,000,000, to bring technical education to the level of Britain's competitors, the Government and local authorities jointly sharing the cost.
