PLEASANT CELEBRATION
A large number of friends, including some from Invercargill, met in the Hutt Railway Workshops Dining Hall recently for a party in honour of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bonifant, of Biddiford Street, Lower Hutt. The very tastefully decorated hall, together with a profusion of spring flowers on the supper tables, supplied a suitable setting. Mr. H. W. Dallison, acting works manager, on behalf of the Workshops' officers and staff, presented Mr. Bonifant with a handsome chiming clock, and Mrs. Bonifant with an equally handsome dressing table set, and numerous presents were received from other friends. Toasts, testifying to the regard in which the guests were held were honoured at the supper table, and a very enjoyable evening concluded with dancing and games.
