RECEPTION AT ST. JAMES'S

RUGBY, November 5. Nearly 3000 people attended a reception at St. James's Palace this afternoon, when the Royal wedding Presents were on view. The Duke of Gloucester, with his fiancee, Lady Alice Scott, drove with the Queen from Buckingham Palace to St. James's. On arrival the Queen, with the Duke and Lady Alice, walked through the State apartments and afterwards mingled with the guests.
