SOCIAL CREDIT CRITICS
(To the Editor.) Sir, —In your columns a few days ago, we read that Mr. D. A. Ewen (a director of the Reserve Bank) stated on his return to Wellington that whilst he was passing through Alberta he noticed "that nearly everybody appeared to be laughing at Aberhart and his scheme." To prove the absurdity of such a contention, one has only to review the election returns of Alberta, when it will be found that the votes cast for Social Credit totalled no less than 161,924, whilst the Conservatives and Liberals combined could only muster 88,076 supporters at the polls.—We are, etc., THE DOUGLAS SOCIAL CREDIT MOVEMENT OF N.Z. (Inc.).
