[Published by Arrangement.] FIG BREEDER'S SUCCESS.
At the Royal Show at Hastings the Large White sow which won the eight months and under fourteen class, and which was exhibited by Mr. E. P. Nielsen, of Tiakitahuna, also won the championship and supreme championship awards. This sow (Tiak Bonny) is but twelve months old, and competent judges agree that it is nearly as perfect as it is possible to get them. Considering the strong competition in the White section, especially in the aged sow class, it was something out of the ordinary to win with such a young animal.
