[Published by Arrangement.] "GRINTON" LARGE BLACKS AND LARGE WHITES.

A long list of show, successes, including Royal championships, stands be- ! hind the well-known "Grinton" stud, ,of recorded Large Blacks and Large Whites, of Mr. Geo. M. Whitelock, Pal-. i merston North, neither effort nor exjpense being spared to create a high | standard, and to breed stock of real I worth to pedigree and commercial I breeders. Type is well correlated with production in this stud, for Mr. Whitelock is a strong supporter of recording, and somS excellent performances have been put up by "Grinton" dams of both breeds, under test. "Grinton" can supply unrelated strains in Large Blacks, and wish to point out the great value of this breed for crossing purposes. The Large Black sow, mated to a Large White or Tamworth boar of the right Jype, will produce 100 per cent. N first-grade baconers.
