DEMOCRAT LEADER
Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, Leader of the Democrat Party, addressed a meeting in the hall at Clevedon yesterday afternoon. There was a full attendance. Mr. Hislop received a very attentive hearing, and was accorded a vote of thanks at the conclusion. In the evening Mr. Hislop addressed a crowded meeting in the Town Hall at Papatoetoe. He was received most enthusiastically. The local candidate, Mr. Rickard, also addressed the meeting.
Mr. Hislop is addressing meetings en route to the East Coast today.
