OPPOSITION LEAD ER STATES POLICY

A feature of the speeches made in the General Election campaign last evening was the explanation of the Labour policy given in the Town Hall by the Leader of the Labour; Party (Mr. M. J. Savage).- Mr.-Savage, who received a most enthusiastic reception from a crowded audience, spoke for two hours, during which time he not only outlined Labour's proposals but also severely criticised thepolicyof the Government.
