WEDDING
HURRON—MOWBRAY.
The wedding took place in the Anglican Church, Paraparaumu, recently of Violet-Mary, third daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. Mowbray, and William Joseph Caldwell, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hurron. The Rev. Mr. Lambert officiated.
' The bride, who was escorted by her brother, Mr. G. Mowbray, wore a gown of ivory satin cut with panel effect and cowl front; and trimmed with orange blossom and having a long train. Her veil of embroidered tulle was caught to the head with a circlet of orange blossom and formed a long train. She carried a bouquet of carnations, roses, and azaJeas. Mrs. Toms (sister of the bride) was matron of honour, and wore a dress of Marina blue striped satin, and a halo headdress. carried a bouquet of Iceland poppies.
Mr. R. Hurron (cousin of the bridegroom) was best man.
. ; The reception was held in the Anglican Hall, which was beautifully decorated, by. a friend of the bride. The guests were, received by Mesdames Mowbray and Hurron, the former wearing' a black and white ensemble and carrying a bouquet of tulips and cyclamen, and the latter a wine ensemble, and a shoulder spray of Banksia roses.
The bride and bridegroom left by car for the north, the bride travelling in a brown costume, with hat to tonp and a fox fur, the gift of tha bride" groom.
