LONDON, November 4,

Although it has been greatly reduced owing to the wishes of the manager (Mr. V. R. Meredith), the All Blacks have a big programme of entertainment during their stay in London, whence they will travel to play Oxford University and Hampshire. The itinerary includes visits to Eton College, Windsor Castle, three theatres, an inspection of the "Daily Mail" office, golf, and tennis. It is hoped that Page will play against Hampshire. He is not yet moving at his fastest but will try out his leg during the .week. The "News-Chronicle," commenting on a remark by Mr. Meredith that the tourists are "doing well enough," regards it as somewhat cryptic, and adds: "Those thinking that the All Blacks are riding close finishes will interpret in their own fashion Mr. Meredith's admission." The "News-Chronicle" believes that the All Blacks have not yet fully revealed their hand owing to the forthcoming international matches. The team to play against Oxford University on Tuesday is as follows: — Full-back: G. Gilbert. Three-quarters: N. Ball, C. J. Oliver, N. Mitchell. Five-eighths: T. H. C. Caughey, J. L. Griffiths. Half-back: B. S. Sadler. Front-row Forwards: A. Lambourn,' W. Hadley, C. Pepper. Other Forwards: T. Reid, R. M. McKenzie, H. F. McLean, F. H. Vorrath, A. Mahoney. The Oxford University team is as follows:— Full-back: Stuart-Watson. Three-quarters: A. Obolensky, M. Walford, R. Harding, G. R. Rees-Jones. HaPos: C. F. Grkv-3, J. M. S. McShane (Sydney). Front-row forwards: J. A. Brett, N. McGrath, J. H. Pienaar (South Africa). Other forwards: G. A. Read, G. D. Roos (South Africa), M. McG. Cooper (New Zealand), captain, C. T. Bloxham, H. Davies. Page, one of the team's five-eighths, had a leg muscle torn in the second match of the- tour, against Midland Counties on September 19, and has not played .since. The Hampshire match is to be played on Saturday.
