TRAFFIC OFFENCES

POLICE PROSECUTIONS

Numerous prosecutions brought by the police against motorists for breaches of the city bylaws were dealt with by Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today. For failing to give way to traffic approaching on the right, Percy Leonard Sadler was fined 10s and costs.

Reginald North Wreford Reed was fined 5s and costs for driving without a licence.

For parking within 15 feet of the building line, Mary Marguerite Ballinger was fined 10s and costs.

Sydney Bassin was fined 20s and costs for cutting a corner.

Frederick William Grainger was fined 10s and costs for parking within 15 feet of the building line.

For having no rear light on his motor-car, Alberta Thomas Craven was fined 5s and costs.

Roy Arthur Chish.olm was fined 10s and costs for parking-at a tram stop. For driving without a licence Edward Thomas Hoffman was fined 10s and costs. He was fined 5s and costs for having no rear light.

Norman Johns, jun., was fined 10s and costs for dangerous driving.

Leslie Arnold Lambourne was fined 10s and costs for parking in a prohibited area, and ordered to pay costs for parking at a tram stop.

Robert McGillivray was ordered to pay costs for having no headlight on his motor-car.

For passing a tram on the wrong side, Robert Clarendon Malcolm was fined 10s and costs.

James Martin was fined £2 and costs for driving without a' licence.

For cutting a corner John Reginald Nash was fined 10s and costs.

Victor Rodgers was fined 5s and costs for driving without a licence.

For failing to signal his intention to pass another vehicle Frederick Hugh Smith was fined 10s and costs.

William Hadfield Smith was fined 5s and costs for having no rear light on his motor-car.

For parking a motor-van more than 12 inches from the kerb Percy George Waters was fined 10s and costs.

Annie Alice Weston was fined 10s and costs for parking at a tram stop.

Thomas Frederick White was fined 10s and costs for parking within 15 feet of the building line.

For driving a motor-cycle bearing other than the assigned number plates, Alex Rait was fined 20s and costs. He was convicted and discharged on a charge of driving an unlicensed motor vehicle.

Chester Ritson was fined £2 and costs for exceeding the licensed load on his vehicle. A fine of £3 and costs was imposed on Alfred Malcolm Walling for a similar offence.
