FIGURES HOLD UP WELL

_The Wellington Racing Club's Spring Meeting was concluded yesterday in very -wet weather, and under such conditions the crowd that attended was a remarkably large one: It was a much worse day than Saturday, with a slushier and heavier track. The totalisator figures also held up surprisingly wjll, the day's turnover of £40,319 10s (£IB,IOO 10s win, £22,219 place) comparing with £.41,395 last iJabour Day.
