HOUSEBREAKING CASES
Three cases of housebreaking oo» curred in suburban districts of Wellington yesterday, but nothing of great value was taken. Two houses in Over* toun Terrace, Hataitai, were visited, but only 4s 6d in cash and an old suit were stolen. Although a fanlight int one house was open, the thief smashed a window-pane so that he could release the catch. A resident of Glenmore Street, Kelburn, found that hia house had been broken into when he returned home, but nothing wai missing. *
