AUSONIA'S DEATH-ROLL

(Received October 19, 2.55 pjn.) v LONDON, October 18. The death-roll in connection with the explosion and fire in the Italian steamer Ausonia at Alexandra is seven. Men of the British Naval vessels were again prominent when tugs which attempted to tow the Ausonia were unable to move her owing to the fact that she was anchored. A picket boat dashed up and severed the anchor chain with an acetylene flame. ■
