INDOOR BOWLING

Shillson's rink required a win on Saturday afternoon to be on equal terms with Lawrie (Ave wins) for the indoor bowling badges. The holders, Lacey, McDonald, Edwards, Johnson, succeeded in stalling off a challenge from McCorkindale, Hamilton, O'Gorman, and Shillson, the score being 20-17.

There are sufficient challenges to play two games a week until the end of the season. The latest challengers were Hansen, Maher, Munro, and Priddle, but after a good game the holders, Wrigley, Ridler, Lawrie, and Wellings, retained the ferns,'the score being 19-18,
