A MOTORING. FATALITY

HAMILTON, This Day. • Found guilty, with a strong recommendation to mercy, in the Supreme .Court at .Hamilton yesterday of negligent driving causing death, John " Henry Mahood, 24, was placed on probation for two years by his Honour Mr. .Justice Callan today, with a special condition that he pay the cost of prosecution, £27, during that period.
IJis Honour remarked that it was not a caseof wild driving in a powerful car. Mahood was led into trouble by his associates. He should have more character and show more wisdom in choosing, bis. friends.
